The Vanderburgh County Farm Bureau's Farmers Market will be open this Friday , May 24 from 8 AM to 1 PM. New to the Market this year is CHOMP Truck, offering Breakfast and Lunch. Farmers Seasonal produce offered will include Strawberries, Radishes, Tomatoes, Squash, Lettuce Mix, Romaine, Swiss Chard, Kale, Broccoli, Cauliflower,Cabbage and Bok Choy. Other favorite items available are Fresh Baked Sweet Potato Pie, Sourdough Bread, Oils, Vinegar and Sea Salts,Strawberry Jam, Jalapeno Pepper Jelly, Fresh Flowers, Iris Rhisomes, Moss, Succulent Gardens, Perennial Plants , Pet Treats, Kettle Korn, Goat Milk Soaps, Potted Flowers and Elephant Ear Plants.
Deaconess Cross Pointe will be at the Deaconess Corner booth at the Vanderburgh Market handing out healthy living information, healthy recipes featuring fresh produce, and free shopping bags.
Musicians are invited to bring their instruments to the ''Jammers" tent and join the fun.
